Shoot with Jens Michel

Jens Michel was in need of new photos for his new website.
with a beautiful suggestion from Jens that we shoot in the beautiful Rhineland Pfalz region which delivers not only rich history in wine and Riesling but also jaw dropping natural locations.

This Shoot went on for two days, but first scouted the locations and look to see which time of day would be best for the shoot.

Jens had lots of amazing ideas and It was my job to bring his vision photographically to life. He truly had a creative artistic mind and had a great way to communicate his ideas which painted pictures into my mind. This allowed us both to see how this project could be best explored.

Jens is a top sort out respected Chef in the region Rhineland Pfalz and the whole of Germany.
He specialises in rescuing restaurants who are in desperate need of high-quality professional chef.

Not only does is rescue the restaurant he does it with flare and professionalism that leaves his clients truly grateful.

The goal of the shoot was to create images that not only move us elegantly but also artistically.
We also wanted to create images that have not really been done before. This was because his business is not the typical type of business especially for a chef and we wanted to convey his unique abilities, so we aimed to create unique images that would communicate this.

I loved the whole Process of this shoot from coming up with the initial ideas to the final shoot and the delivery of the final images. It felt truly creative, and we both felt like we contributed massively to the ideas.
